EN 13773 CLASS 1 Faux Linen Blackout Fabric Test Report
Testing Process: The test is conducted according to EN 13773:2003, which includes procedures to determine the ignitability of vertically oriented specimens with a small flame (EN 1101) and measurement of flame spread with a large ignition source (EN 13772).
Test Data:
- Composition: 100% POLYESTER
- Area Density: 345 g/m²
- Sample Configuration: Single layer
- Size of Specimen: 200 mm × 80 mm; 560 mm × 170 mm
- Cleaning Procedure: 50 cycles, EN ISO 6330:2021, type A washing machine, wash program No.6N, 60 degree C, line dry.
- Conditioning: At least 24 h at 20±2°C and 65±5% relative humidity.
Test Results:
- Ignition time (s): 1-20 seconds
- After flame time (s): 0 seconds
- Reaches the top or vertical edges: No
- Non-ignition according to EN 1101
- 1st marker threads not severed, no flaming debris, according to EN 13772
Conclusion: The test sample “after washing” meets the requirements of Class 1 specified in EN 13773:2003.
