Fabric Introduction
BEGOODTEX Permanent Flame Retardant Blackout Fabric is a flame retardant fabric with strong blackout features. The surface is made of two layers of intrinsic flame retardant polyester yarn and black silk in the center of the shade. The fabrics are diverse, affordable, soft and comfortable. Due to the flame retardant properties, these fabrics offer a beautiful and silky effect, as well as good flame retardant and light blocking functions, creating a comfortable and quiet environment for you.
Advantages of Fabrics
- 95% blackout rate:The surface consists of two layers of intrinsic flame retardant polyester yarn and a layer of black blackout silk in the middle, providing a 95% blackout effect.
- Permanent Flame Retardant: The fabric's flame retardant properties are achieved through the use of BEGOODTEX permanent flame retardant yarn combined with black silk for blackout purposes. This combination transforms ordinary blackout fabric has flame retardant effect, soft handfeel, and good effect in stopping the spread of fire. The fabric has passed the flame retardant standards in various countries such as: UK, USA, France, France and so on.

Fabric has four major uses:
This flame retardant faux linen coated blackout fabric is especially suitable for homes, hotels, and other places because of its 100% blackout effect.
- Beautify the living room: other interior decorations such as drapes and roller blinds. These items are commonly used in places such as: hotels, guesthouses, etc..
- Sleeping products: In the bedroom that requires a dark environment, it can be made into eye masks and other sleeping accessories.

Blackout fabric BS5867 Test report
Testing Process: The sample is a 100% polyester inherent flame retardant blackout curtain fabric with a royal blue color. The test is conducted according to Type C of BS 5867-2:2008, which includes surface ignition tests in both the machine direction and the cross direction. Prior to testing, the sample undergoes a standard washing procedure of 50 cycles and is conditioned in an environment with a temperature of 20±2°C and a relative humidity of 65±5% for at least 24 hours to ensure the accuracy of the test. During the test, a flame is applied to the surface of the sample, and the spread, duration, and after-effects of the flame are observed.
