Flame Retardant Fabrics for Bags

BEGOODTEX offers Canvas, Oxford, coated polyester, woven fabrics, mesh, and leather-like fabrics for Bags & Backpacks applications. Current products range from about 210–800 g/m², covering lightweight bag fabrics through heavier protective constructions.

Canvas and Oxford for Backpacks

Canvas is suitable for tool bags, luggage, outdoor packs, and heavy-duty products that require structure and abrasion resistance. Oxford Fabric is a good option for lighter backpacks and outdoor gear where durability and lower weight are important.

Selected products can also combine waterproof, coated, or GRS options according to the final bag design.

Fire Standards for Bags & Backpacks

Depending on the selected fabric, applicable standards can include NFPA 701, CA Title 19, CAN/ULC-S109-14, DIN 4102-B1, EN 13501-1, EN 13773 Class 1, and NF P92-503 M1.

The exact standard should be confirmed according to the bag type, target market, and final product construction.
