Nylon Carpet is commonly selected for high-use areas because of its resilience and wear resistance. BEGOODTEX currently offers 800 g/m² and 1000 g/m² nylon flame retardant rugs for contract applications.
Flame Retardant Polyester Carpet provides another option for decorative and commercial projects. BG-126, for example, uses 100% FR Polyester with a 600 g/m² short-pile construction.
Why Is Anti-Slip Backing Important for Rugs?

For hotels, theaters, lounges, corridors, and other high-use areas, flame retardancy alone is not enough.
Buyers should also consider fiber material, total weight, pile height and density, abrasion resistance, backing structure, anti-slip performance, cleaning requirements, colorfastness, and project-specific fire classification.
Higher weight can provide a more substantial feel, but the best construction should be selected according to actual traffic level and installation conditions.

Printed carpets allow vintage, retro, geometric, or project-specific decorative designs without changing the basic short-pile structure. BEGOODTEX BG-127 uses a vintage printed nylon surface, while BG-126 uses a retro patterned short-pile construction.
What Flame Retardant Standards Can Carpet Meet?
Depending on the selected product, BEGOODTEX Carpet products currently list test support including NFPA 701, CA Title 19, CAN/ULC-S109-14, EN 13501-1, EN 13773 Class 1, NF P92-503 M1, GOST R 50810-95, IMO FTPC Part 7, JIS L 1091, and UNI 9177.
For flooring projects, buyers should pay particular attention to the floor-covering reaction-to-fire classification required by the project. European reaction-to-fire classifications for floorings use flooring-specific classes such as Cfl-s1, Dfl-s1, or Efl, so the final carpet system and installation condition should be confirmed rather than relying only on a generic textile flame test.
