Flame Retardant Fabrics for Hospitals

BEGOODTEX Medical & Healthcare fabrics are designed for hospitals, clinics, nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare environments.

The current range covers medical curtains, bedding, uniforms, mesh fabrics, and other healthcare textiles. Selected products can also combine antibacterial, water-repellent, and mildew-resistant functions.

Medical Curtains, Mesh and Healthcare Textiles

Medical privacy curtains require flame resistance, privacy, durability, and practical maintenance. Mesh sections can be used where greater airflow is required, while Jacquard and wider curtain fabrics provide privacy and decorative options.

BEGOODTEX currently offers medical curtain fabrics up to 280 cm wide, including FR Polyester Jacquard and Mesh constructions.

Fire Standards for Medical Fabrics

Depending on the selected product, applicable standards can include NFPA 701, BS 5867 Type C, CA Title 19, CAN/ULC-S109-14, DIN 4102-B1, EN 13773 Class 1, JIS L 1091, and NF P92-503 M1.

Selected products may also provide ASTM 2149 antibacterial testing and ISO 4920 water-repellency testing. These functions should be confirmed separately for the exact fabric.
