Why Use Dutch Velvet for Stage Curtains?
Dutch Velvet provides a soft pile, rich visual depth, and substantial drape, making it well suited to theatre curtains, stage drapery, and hotel interiors.
BEGOODTEX currently offers Dutch Velvet from 150–320 cm wide, including 300 cm and 320 cm options for large curtain installations. Selected products support NFPA 701, BS 5867 Type C, DIN 4102-B1, EN 13773 Class 1, and NF P92-503 M1.
Can Dutch Velvet Be Used for Upholstery?
Yes. Heavier Dutch Velvet constructions are also suitable for sofas, chairs, cushions, and decorative upholstery where a soft surface and durable appearance are required.
BEGOODTEX currently offers upholstery-oriented Dutch Velvet from about 320–570 g/m², with selected products tested to BS 5852 Crib 5 or EN 1021-1/2.
