BS 5852 Crib 5
Main Content: BS 5852 is a series of flammability test standards for upholstered furniture such as cushions, pillows, and sofas. “Crib 5” (a wood crib with an accelerant ) is one of the more severe ignition sources, used to simulate a demanding fire scenario.
Applicable Products: Upholstered furniture and padding in public venues or high-risk environments such as prisons, oil rigs, and marine facilities.
