IFR + Chemical-Proof Fabric combines flame or heat protection with resistance to selected chemicals, oils, or industrial liquids.

BEGOODTEX currently applies this function to Oxidized PAN, Fiberglass, coated and composite technical fabrics. Chemical resistance depends on the exact material and surface treatment.

Chemical-Proof Fabric for Industrial Protection

For example, silicone-coated Oxidized PAN fabric combines heat resistance with resistance to water, oil, abrasion, and selected chemicals.

How to Choose Chemical-Resistant Fabric?

Buyers should confirm the chemical type, concentration, temperature, contact time, coating structure, and required flame protection. “Chemical-Proof” should not be understood as resistance to every chemical.

Depending on the product, applicable fire standards can include EN 469, EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 14116, and NFPA 2112. Chemical resistance and flame performance should be confirmed separately for the exact material.
